It would probably be easier if you should install and used the Teradata Manager application for a several reasons: 1) It is easier to manage and track permspace using the utility tools rather than trying to use pure SQL. 2) You can establish Alerts using the Alert Policy Editor that can email or page you when permspace falls below a specified threshold that you set for each database. 3) There are multiple other helpful tools within TM that aide in managing and analyzing database performance and activity.
