Mohommod,

We are one V2R5.1.2, and we stumbled across a similar problem while running TSETs for queries with Join Indexes. I believe your problem is related to the same thing because visual explain captures the query plan using the many of the same QCD componenets as used by TSET.

DR 92813 - Capturing query plan with 17+ column NUSI causes 3610

Here, they describe the problem as 17+ column NUSIs, but, I'm pretty sure they should have used the word 'Index' instead of NUSI to be more generic. This fix for this problem (as reported by Teradata's DR Query Application) is slated for 6.0.2 and 6.1.
