From:   Diehl, Robert

Boris,

What do you mean by capturing intermediate results? If you want to know how many rows were inserted/updated/selected from a request, then use ACTIVITY_COUNT

The ACTIVITY_COUNT status variable returns the number of rows affected by an SQL DML statement in an embedded SQL or stored procedure application.

See "SQL Reference - Stored Procedures and Embedded SQL" V2R5.1 and later.

Not sure if available prior to that version.

Thanks,

Bob Diehl
