As was stated in a previous post, the Character set type is also returned by the HELP Column statement so Microstrategy can easily correct
their length calculation by simply dividing by two if the type is Unicode (2).
(I though Microstrategy used ODBC. If so, why are they screwing around with Teradata specific queries when they should be using the
SQLColumns() API provided by ODBC. This is provided specifically to avoid such vendor specific problems.)
