Subj: | | Excessive Delays between DBQLogTbl's StartTime and FirstStepTime |
|
From: | | cbarrineau |
All,
We are finding many examples (~30 a day) of queries with a delay of 20 or more seconds between a query's 'StartTime' and 'FirstStepTime' per
the DBQLogTbl. Other than a lack of AMP worker tasks, would anything else explain this delay? For example, would a query with more than 100
steps be expected to have a longer delay between 'StartTime' and 'FirstStepTime'? Or, would a lack of system memory cause this delay between
'StartTime' and 'FirstStepTime'?
Thanks,
Clay
