<-- Anonymously Posted: Wednesday, September 14, 2005 15:10 --> I am generating SQL that I want to display properly on Windows or MP-RAS Unix platform, generating carriage-return/line feed or newline characters as needed. On Windows platforms I know that the string '0D0A'XC produces a carrige-return/line-feed. - How do I store this in a Teradata table, what data type and length? - Should I define a different string on Unix? If so, what is the appropriate equivalent string, and what datatype & length would I define it in a Teradata table? Thanks, Anony
