Delete operation uses Transient Journal for Rollback in case of failed transaction. Delete all is faster because of two reasons 1) It operates at the block level 2) Does not use a transient journal. However with a delete all operation you won't get the table in previous format in case of failed transaction which is obvious since transient journal isn't used. Hope this helps' Ankit
