For executing the scripts from client machine to the remote Teradata Database base, we need to know the OS platform.

If DBC.TVM table of remote Teradata Database are not accessible then what is the alternative to look up for the platform related information in V2R6? How can I know the platform information of remote teradata database in V2R5.X ?
