I much prefer the Teradata Manager client over PMON. You can see the IO, CPU and spool in one list and sort on any column. The problem queries always seem to be the ones with high spool. If you double click on the row you get the same session screen as PMON. The DBQL tables have reduced the need for both, you can look for the problem queries after the fact.
