| Situation: when we export DATA a date column from a table into a flat file using a batch script, the date is expanded as YYYY-MM-DD.
There is a FORMAT on the column definition in the table, but it is YY/MM/DD. The INTEGER column is binary and the DECIMAL column is
packed. | |
| Yet, when I export DATA from the same table using BTEQ interactively, the date is the expected 4-byte binary value. | |
Did you have a chance to run HELP SESSION in both cases? If not, it might be useful to add the command just before the EXPORT in the script. I
wonder if there are any date format related differences between the sessions. It could be a lead.

Victor
