| I'm finding that if I try to logon with a Queryman (sorry, Sql Assistant) ODBC data source, with a Character Set defined as UNICODE, I get
the message error message "ODBC HY000 Invalid Session Character Set" - which is a bit irritating. What I'm having to do is logon as non-Unicode,
explicitly set my Character set to Unicode, logoff and then log back on again. | |
| Is there a way around this ? | |
This sounds like the first session (non-Unicode) might modify something in the registry. You might need to monitor the registry during this
session to find out which entry it is. You could then make the change permanent.
Or, wait until Mike comes with a better suggestion.

Victor
