I have been using PowerDesigner with Teradata for 3 years. I have been using PowerDesigner Release 9.5 and I have customized a DBMS file for
that release. Also, I understand that the newest release provides a Teradata DBMS file. In any case, in my release, the database choose dropdown
box must be clicked twice as it has a habit of not showing the scroll bar the first time. Be sure that you choose the Teradata DBMS before
connecting to the database. If you use some other DBMS you will get an error message and will not be allowed to choose the database. I uploaded
my customized Teradata DBMS for PowerDesigner 9.5 to the Sybase website about 18 months ago.
