| Google gives only the rate of 8:3 for "a criterion" to "a criteria". The usage of such words in English has changed over the time. For
example, who is using "a visum" (apart from Dutch tourists)? It has become "a visa" long time ago. "Criterion" will be gone pretty soon from
English. | |
Well, that may happen; no one uses the word agendum any more, and I admit that I have given up on 'data' (strictly, the plural of 'datum'). But
I'm going to hold the line on this one as long as possible. 'Criterion' is still a living word in English; in fact, there is a literary journal
named The New Criterion.
