Hi there,

You can get a better performance by using a fastload to initially load an empty table which more or less resembles the target. Then populate the actual target using an INSERT - SELECT.(BTEQ)

You can not use all the transformations in FASTLOAD as you use in MLOAD. So what ever changes you does to the data in the MLOAD can be put in the Insert -select later.

We have used this technique to load the history data (Approx. 100 Million Records) and we have observed lot of improvement in the performance.
