Please note that Reconfiguration does not adjust the max space figures. PERM, SPOOL and TEMP space are perm AMP figures and thus a MAXPERM of
10(ignoring units) on a 10 AMP system means that each AMP would receive just I unit of perm. If the data is skewed you may need to add perm space.
Similarily a DBA will often have to increase the SPOOL figures of the user to ensure existing user queries still run.
