You can try below options.

Deleting using MLOAD where you won't face roll back problems and its fast too.

Insert the necessary records into a new table and drop the old table. This is also fast approach.

You can otherwise check the options for dropping partitions of a table if possible. By the way V2r6 has got a new option of terminating rollback transactions.
