I have to leave the answer to somebody who has been following the issue recently. I only seem to remember that NCR have chosen for an expensive
algorithm. I don't know how they will be charging customers, though. It would probably make sense to charge only those who are interested in
encryption but would not bet on it.
If I find the thread on this in the archives I'll post it later.
