Perhaps you have already seen the NCR recommendation in the CLI messages doc:
"SESSCRASHED Session has crashed. Explanation: The session has crashed.
Remedy: Check the crash options and redrive the request if needed."
Sounds like you need to trace the process to find out what exactly causes the problem on your site.
BTW, I like this expression: "redrive the request". Never heard it before. Sounds kind of dynamic.
