I am not sure about XML being supported in TPump or any of the older TD utilities. However, there are two things you can look into as a possible solution:

1. write an INMOD for TPump where you do the IO and return the "record" to TPump

2. investigate if Warehouse Builder, the newest utility, has this support in its file recognition
