I have seen an anomaly often referred to as "phantom spool" where a user has spool allocated even though they don't have an active
session/query. The only cure proposed has been to drop and recreate the user. Would this UPDATESPACE command work in those situations? I assume
xxxxxx is the user id. Is the VPROC number relevant in the command?
We are on V2R3.
Thanks
