Subj:   Re: Finding View information

From:   Agarwal, Rachana

Thanks a lot everyone for providing me with the information.

I was just wondering if there is any system table that maintains information about each column in the view. All inputs that I got for this returns me create statements for all the base tables referred to in the view. But it is not necessary that I refer to all the columns from the base table in my view.

I want information about all those columns only that are referred to in the view.

The form in which I want the information would be something like this :-

View_Column_Name , Base table name , base column Name / expression , datatype of the column , Nullable , is Primary Index ... Etc....

Thanks and Regards,

Rachana
