Another thought: "A0" in the Latin character set should correspond to "=C5=A1", which TD calls "LATIN SMALL LETTER S WITH CARON". If you see it
as a blank in the front-end application, it is worth checking whether the application properly supports European languages: code pages, fonts etc.
The letter is not at all unusual in some languages, as other list subscribers might be able to confirm.
