Does anyone have any experience or advice concerning the number of platforms you allow to invoke the Teradata utilities?

Our Teradata production server is channel connected to our mainframe where the bulk of our source data resides. We have deployed the utilities to various mid range servers allowing fast export. We have a new source where we might want to deploy the ability to invoke the load utilities.
