  I got the same results as you...it didn't seem to work...I'll try and figure out why.  


It might be an indication that the check occurs on the server side and the HTMemAlloc is used in it for all sessions? I think the reset of this parameter to 0 is only required for the parsing phase of the query. After that it can be set back to the original value. So, the "No HJ" setting will only be valid for a couple of seconds, and no restart is necessary...
