Hi:

I was reading through the Utilities manual for Query Session Utility. In the same document it states the FAST EXPORT performs VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL data redistribution. Can anyone throw some detailed light on the difference between the two. It also states that Vertical redistribution is done for SELECT with ORDER BY clause. It looks like Sorting the data.

Any other information which relates to this and I might be missing, could be handy.

I saw one job with the following step, can any one explain it.

- We do an export Vertical Redistribution step.
