Does anyone know whether a FastLoad can accommodate a Packed Decimal input field? We've got input files that have columns defined as packed decimal and we'd like to load it straight into a table (which as has the column defined as Decimal).

In the past, we've translated the input file definition such that each of the columns, of which were Decimal columns from the source system, are translated into unpacked numeric values.

As an example, we have Decimal (6,3) unpacked into the file as 'NNN.NNN', defining them in the FastLoad as (FORMAT '9(3).9(3)')

It just seems to me that there must be an easier method.
