Dear all:

There is an insert select operation on a non-empty table wich is taking too long. The target table has two secondary indexes.

Question: Can we drop the secondary indexes while the insert-select is in progress ?

We wan to speed up the insert-select. A rollback will have devastating efects in our datawarehouse. Our is a 4950 environment 4 nodes with 2R.04.01.03.40 Teradata RDBMS

Any help will be highly appreciate
