Hi, If you are running 5.1 you can write your own User Defined Functions in 'C'. There have been several Posts about UDFS, and I have created an example UDF in the open source section of TeradataForum.com www.teradataforum.com/tdf-udflib/is_integer.htm You can also search www.teradata.com/t/page/118769/index.html There are a collection of Equivalent Oracle and DB2 Functions written for Teradata. If you don't find what you are looking for and end up writing it yourself you might want to think about SUBMITTING your UDF to www.teradata.com for other people to use.
