Hi All, This query is more for understanding and confirmation!!! We are currently using the default value for MaxDecimal i.e. 15. But the aggregate queries are regularly hitting the Numeric overflow for certain applications. We are planning to change the value to 18. I suppose that should increase the maximum limit that the decimal can hold after altering the value. Can any one tell the maximum value that can be stored in : - Decimal(15,0) - Decimal(18,0) - Numeric(15,0) - Numeric(18,0) In case the value is decimal(15,0), does any one have an alternative to get aggregate results of data currently giving the Numeric Overflow error? (Cast, etc) Any suggestions are welcome!!! Thanks & Regards, Pete
