Just to clarify, journals are really a design consideration for your Warehouse, and not something you can consider 'after the event' - your
table DDL needs to be setup in advance of any usage, in line with your disaster recovery policy.
Probably pretty obvious, but worth clarifying.
Bear in mind too that using before-image (usually for software 'failures', as in this case) or after-image (usually for hardware failures / DR)
journals will have a performance overhead on your journalled table, and this is something that has to be considered re: batch runtime window.
IMHO, great functionality, but they come with lots of 'gotcha's - Caveat Emptor....
