Subj:   Re: Deleting duplicate rows in Table without INS/SEL

From:   Maffei Francesca

Hi Vidya,

your table with duplicate row is a MULTISET table, isn't it? I don't think it's possible to delete duplicate rows without performing an ins/sel statement, but what about trying to do an Insert Select in a SET table instead of an "ins/sel distinct"?

In this way you can prevent other users from inserting duplicate rows in this table in the future.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

FM
