You will want to look at the access logging (dbc.acclogtbl) as well if you tracking the object accesses. Also AMPusage (dbc.acctg) if you are
tracking transactional level (account string expansion with '&I') resource utilization. That could fill-up rather quickly as well - # of amps *
12 million submissions.
I think you will find someone is using MS-Access (or similar type tool) to join a Teradata table to another data source. It will dip into
Teradata for each row joined. Your event log may have some clues in the logon source and have the application name in the source as well as
TCP/IP.
