Subj: | | FAST EXPORT Replace function |
|
From: | | Sridhar Nomula |
Hi!
My question is about REPLACE function in Teradata comparable to oracle. I have looked at other posts in taradata forum which talks about
creating UDF's. I am trying to extract data from our teradata box using FastExport and loading into Oracle box. The export file from teradata box
is '|' pipe delimited. Unfortunately there is very small amount of data, which contains '|' within the data. I am trying to replace such data
while exporting Obviously I cant use any REPLACE function in SQL since it doesn't exist. I want to avoide creating any new UDF's. My question is
can I specify any command or option in Fast Export that will do such replace.
Thanks
Sree
