Is the temporary space use (currenttemp) for a session supposed to be cleared to zero after a session [that used temp space] is disconnected? I saw this happen on v2r4, but since we've upgraded to v2r5.1 I can query dbc.diskspace and see a positive currenttemp even after the session has been disconnected. Is this supposed to clear automatically?

Does it take a while to clear? Is it safe to clear it manually? Has anyone else noticed this? If this is supposed to be automatic, immediately after a disconnect, I will open an incident

Mike,

Good observation. I too have noticed the same. I'm not very sure about the whole thing but what I have learned from our DBA is that it takes around 10 mins to get it cleared by itself. So in case we need it to be cleared immediately then we use a custom written stored procedure to do the same. I don't see any issue with that. Any other comments are certainly welcome.

Thanks
