Thanks, That worked. But casting timestamp(6) to char(26) and then casting it to time(0) is taking extra 3 mintues. Is there any reason?. I have 101 million records in the table.

the syntax is

     cast(substr(cast(evt.created as char(26)),12,8) as time(0))
