Current versions of SQL Assistant use the 'standard' ODBC date format in the answer windows. That is YYYY-MM-DD. In Version 7.0 (Due year end) dates will be displayed in the format defined in your Windows regional settings ... so you will be able to change the format. (Note that the format will be determined at program startup so you would need to exit SQLA, change the regional settings, and restart SQLA, in order to switch format on the fly.) There is no control over Float values, other than the standard 'numeric' options of displaying thousand separators, or not, and specifying the number of decimal digits to display. (0 to 4 via the menus, 0 to 14 via the 'Format' command.) If a float value is very large (> e18), and is returned in scientific notation, it will however be displayed in scientific notation - but that is an automatic feature - not an option. Mike Dempsey
