Hi Victor,

Thanks for the reference. The database we receive from an external vendor is a list of individuals with a boatload of attributes, each in a separate column. Why send it in that format? Your guess is as good as mine. 'Socks and shoes' was just a simple example to get at something in Teradata like the Transpose function in SAS.
