I worked with DBQL logging a few months ago and recall that the log is maintained in memory until the buffers fill or until an end logging statement is received. So rapid visibility into the logs can be viewed as being diminished by the performance characteristics built into the product. I will wait to see if product architects elaborate on this observation.
