Subj:   Is there an equivalent of DUAL in Teradata

From:   Fred Easey

Hello,

In Oracle I used to make use of a system table called "dual" which had 1 row with the letter x as the value. It was handy if you wanted to add literals onto a query result as you could use "union select 'some literal' from dual;" onto the end of the select query.

Is there an equivalent in Teradata?
