That's why I recommend DBD::ODBC - you get the NCR support for the low level interface at whatever level you are running.
The DBD::Teradata product currently has no way to connect to any V2R5.1.x system with logon encryption enabled. Even if DBD::Teradata is
modified the purchaser will have to make sure that it supports both V2R5.1.0 and V2R5.1.1 because they have different encryption algorithms. Who
knows what V2R6 will bring...
