Hi,

Can anyone tell me whether or not BTEQ transmits passwords in cleartext in either of the following situations? I couldn't find anything in the reference manual....

1) username and password embedded in the script and .LOGONPROMPT set to OFF

2) .LOGONPROMPT set to ON and username/password entered interactively
