We are in the process of upgrading to V2R5.1.x and need to understand the different pricing strategy NCR is using for the utility package. Does NCR offer all the TTU software (Load and Unload, connectivity, Query, and Storage tools) at one base price for everything, or is each software component of the 7.1 utility package individually priced as a rule?

I believe the pricing has changed from a "per platform" paradigm to a "per Teradata CPU" paradigm. If so, does anyone know exactly what the licensing price per CPU for the entire package would be?

I am using the platform compatibility matrix from NCR website to use as the baseline for what components comprise the TTU 7.1 release. It that the right thing to do, or is there some other way that the TTU software is bundled?

Any help would be appreciated...
