HI, TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM YOU MUST DO THE NEXT ACTIONS: 1. CHANGE THE AVAIBLE OF FILE DESCRIPTORS TO BE MORE THAN THE NUMBER OF SESSIONS THAT THE TERADATA UTILITY WILL REQUIRE AND RUN THE UTILITY AGAIN. THIS PARTICULAR INSTANCE OF THE PROBLEM WAS SOLVED BY CHANGING THE AVAIBLE NUMBER OF FILES DESCRIPTORS TO 128. TO DO THIS YOU MUST TYPE THE NEXT COMMANDS. cd /etc/conf/bin idtune SFNOLIM 128 2. NOW YOU HAVE TO REBUILD THE KERNEL AND RESTART THE NODES USING THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS. rallsh -sv /etc/conf/bin/idbuild to rebuild kernel rallsh -sv shutdown -i6 -g0 -y 3. ONCE YOU HAVE RESTARTED YOUR NODES YOU MUST DO THE NEXT: cd /etc/inet inconfig tcp_2msl 30 THAT'S ALL I HOPE IT HELPS YOU. I CORRECTED THE SAME PROBLEM DOING THIS.
