Hello,
We are going to be upgrading from V2R5.0.1.7 in the very near future. I've seen several messages related to the upgrade and I've tried to find
some info on the Teradata websites. However, I can't find a summarized list of what should be done before the NCR folks show up with upgrade
disks in their hands.
Additionally, there has been some talk about 'breaking the mirror' prior to the upgrade with the hope that if something goes wrong, we can go
back and use those mirrored disks that are at our earlier version. Will this work and if so, is it a good or bad idea?
