DBSControl "General Fields" group has this field - RoundHalfwayMagUp. By default this is FALSE, Set this to TRUE & it will do the rounding as
per your requirement. Note that this change requires a Teradata restart.

| 20. RoundHalfwayMagUp - This field indicates how rounding should be performed when computing values of DECIMAL type. If this field
is FALSE, the system uses the rounding semantics traditional for Teradata, namely, a value exactly halfway between representable decimal values is
rounded up or down so that the least significant digit is even. If TRUE, the system uses rounding semantics appropriate for many business
applications, namely, the magnititudes of halfway values are rounded up. Put differently, halfway values are rounded away from zero, so that
positive halfway values are rounded up and negative halfway values are rounded down (toward negative infinity). | |
