Thanks Mike. It's encouraging to know that this can be done easily in V2R5. We are still V2r4 and hoping to upgrade.

I created a script(using excel) and ran it in sql assistant, and gave myself rights to all users, then another script to change all spools, which was not much of a pain. Essentially, what you said, except that the users were listed in the script, and not imported.

But, now my user is holding tons of rights (messy!), which is what I was trying to avoid.

I did not know about the Import feature of SQL assistance, but I ran a test and it's great. Thanks!
