Subj:   Re: Export from MS Access 2000 to Teradata

From:   Slook, Ed

Gordon,

In order to work out the MS Access date problem, NCR has come up with a patch for MS Access. It has some different property settings that allow the DATE() function to work w/ Teradata. If you recall, any driver after 2.06 had a date/timestamp conflict w/ MS Access. The 3.03.00.02 patch resolves this, but we have to use a separate DSN to take advantage of it. Any MS Access databases you have should be re-linked to this new ODBC.

All things being the same except for the driver options:

Driver Options:

Check "Use X Views" here. Then hit the advanced button.

Advanced Driver Options:

Check "Enable MS-Access Timestamp Interoperability Mode
