One of our clients wants to build active data warehouse on Teradata V2R5 database. Teradat warehouse builder is selected as ETL tool and TIBCO is EAI tool used for extracting transactions from sources on real time basis.

Can any body give information/pointers about following questions.

1. In Active data warehouse (ADW) implementation,how real time loading of data into Teradata data warehouse is achieved? Is stream operator of Teradata warehouse builder or TPump load utility used?

2. If EAI tool like TIBCO is used for pulling most recent transaction data from source systems then how the interfacing of TIBCO with teradata is achieved? what sort of connector/adapter component is required for this?

3. How does transformation of incremental data is achieved? in TIBCO or using Teradata SQL once the data is loaded in staging area?

Also please share tips/best practices, your experiences,problems faced in implementing Active datawarehosue solution.
