Hi All,

Does any one have any documentation about the COVER INDEX. I have tried searching on the forum and the Teradata documentation... BUT HARD LUCK, so far!!!

I need to run a query in which I am trying to get the records that are currently active (start_dt <= DATE AND END_DT >= DATE). This is performing a full table scan (as expected), but I still want to bring the spool usage down by building some INDEX, if it might help.

Any suggestions are welcome. Thanking you in anticipation.
