Does anyone know how/where the DNS names get resolved for PMON? We just migrated a division from 1 box to another "production" box and we had
all the appropriate DNS names changed to point to the new IP addresses. The problem is that PMON still gets resolved to the old machine. In fact
I don't even have that name in my own hosts file anymore. Just trying to figure out where/how PMON resolves the RDBMS Name when logging on.
Also, where does it store those RDBMS Names? I would like to remove some old ones, but can not.
